Welcome to OCM
Olde Curiosity Music encompasses the musical works of Neil Minsky. His musical talents are diverse. Originally classically trained on piano, Neil has branched into many different styles from alternative rock to musical theater. His songs have been placed in films and stage, while he continues to hone his expertise as a producer, musician, and artist.
For whatever project you desire, original music can be created based on your needs, while collaboration with playwrights, musicians, and lyricists are always welcome.

A completely re-recorded version of the original BURN album for fans of Neil's first solo album. Includes the songs Walking Away and I Get Nowhere.
PROVEN IDENTITY
Fans of the underground hardcore scene from the late 1980's to early 1990's can finally listen to the remastered entire Proven Identity collection! Fronted by Neil Minsky with Stu Ploss's incredible drumming, Proven Identity was a staple on the local music scene.

Theater
We continually look for producers and theater companies to stage our musicals for readings, workshops, or full productions. Perusal materials (along with backing tracks) are available upon request. In addition, we welcome collaborations with lyricists, book writers, and other musicians that have are interested in writing or producing musicals of all styles. THE STORY OF JOB
Book, Lyrics, & Music by Neil Minsky
Based on the Book of Job from the Old Testament, The Story of Job had its premiere at the Main Stage Playhouse in Nashville, Tennessee in 2002. This cast recording was recorded by Grammy® winner and new age artist, Paul Avgerinos. Theater companies in the UK can license this musical through Stage One Entertainment.
A LITTLE PRINCESS
Book by Ed Mintz, Lyrics by Ray Kohler, & Music by Neil Minsky
Based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic story, A Little Princess demonstrates a young girl's ability to withstand challenges and remain hopeful using her imagination. Delightful for audiences Bothe young and old, this album was nominated for the 2006 JP Folks Award for Best Theater Album while Talkin' Broadway's April 2005 review of Neil Minsky's music stated that his "melodies are quite attractive . . . catchy, with bounce." This musical enjoyed concert performance at the Pepsico Theater in Norwalk, Connecticut.
PIECES Coming Soon!
A work-in-progress, the musical pieces tells the story of a young man trying to find the balance in his life among his friends, family, work and the everyday pieces of modern life. A pop oriented score mixed with a witty and humorous book, this musical is expected to completed by October 2025.

Come join us for an enjoyable collection of Broadway songs with James Canning. As one of the original Broadway cast members of the hit musical Grease, James tells his life story from acting to teaching to fatherhood and everything in between. Musical direction by Neil Minsky, this cabaret show comes to BJ Ryan's Magnolia Room in Norwalk, CT.
